Hi, I’m Jessica—the founder of That Wallpaper Girl. Wallpaper wasn’t part of some perfectly planned career path. I accidentally found my way into it after my divorce, when I took a part-time job at a wallpaper studio in Santa Monica. What began as a way to start over became an obsession, a business and, eight years later, a huge part of who I am.

The studio held hundreds of wallpaper books, and I spent countless hours getting to know them. Clients would walk in searching for something incredibly specific—a certain color, an animal, a floral, a toile or simply a feeling they wanted to create in a room. I loved digging through those books, finding the perfect possibilities and helping someone discover the wallpaper they didn’t quite know how to describe.

That experience taught me that choosing wallpaper is deeply personal. It also taught me how color, scale, texture, pattern repeats and materials can completely change the way a design looks and feels in a real space.

For the past six years, I’ve specialized in professional painting and wallpaper installation. I’ve worked inside real homes and installed everything from traditional pasted wallpaper and peel-and-stick designs to grasscloth, murals, bold patterns and luxury designer wallcoverings.

That hands-on experience is what makes That Wallpaper Girl different. This isn’t simply an online wallpaper store filled with designs selected from behind a computer. Every collection is curated by someone who has spent years studying wallpaper books, helping clients choose patterns and installing wallcoverings in real homes.
